Halide is a moving-image studio working across film, commercials, music videos, photography and post-production.

We make work for fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle and culture-led brands. Guided by a careful eye for light and a steady production process, Halide carries each project from first treatment and casting through shooting, edit, grade and final delivery.

(Process)03 steps

Strategy

Every film starts with listening, references and a clear brief. We study the brand, its audience and the place the work will live in long before a single shot is planned or booked.

Direction

We set the idea, the visual tone, rhythm, casting and the shape of the shoot. This gives every crew member one shared picture to work toward well before the camera rolls.

Design

We finish the piece through framing, edit, sound design, grade, type and motion. Each cut is weighed against the story until the whole film reads as one calm, complete piece.

(Approach)

Halide gathers directors, cinematographers, editors, colorists and producers into small crews built around each project. Our films rely on simple ideas, patient craft and a close reading of every brand we work with.
