Information We Collect

When you write to Halide, send us a brief or join our mailing list, we keep what you give us: usually your name, email, phone number, company and the details of the film you have in mind. If a project goes ahead we also hold billing and contract information. While you browse, our hosting and analytics tools record ordinary technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location, the pages you open and the site that sent you here. We look at this only in aggregate, to see which work people watch and where the site can be clearer.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The site sets a small number of cookies so that pages load properly, videos remember their volume and we can count visits without identifying anyone. You are free to block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still open, although video playback and some interactions may behave differently. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

How We Use Your Information

Your details are used to answer your message, prepare treatments and estimates, schedule shoots, send invoices and keep you informed about a production you are part of. If you subscribed, we also send occasional studio news, never more than a few times a year. Halide does not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we keep it only as long as a project, an accounting rule or the law requires.

Data Security

Project files and contact records live on access-controlled storage, and only the producers and crew working on your job can open them. Freelancers and vendors receive what their part of the work needs and nothing more. No online system is perfectly safe, but if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly and explain what we are doing about it.

Third-Party Services and Links

We rely on a few outside services to run the studio: web hosting, video streaming, email, analytics and payments. Each of them handles data under its own privacy terms, which we review before we sign up. Pages here may also link to festivals, press and partner sites; once you leave halide.studio, their policies apply instead of ours.

Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to export it or to delete it, and you can leave our mailing list with one click. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you may also ask us to stop processing your data. Send any request to hello@halide.studio and we will reply from Copenhagen within ten working days.
